Eriskay Guest House and Aviemore Glamping

Od gospodarza dostaliśmy informację mailem, że można zalogować się wcześniej niż wskazane zostało na booking. Na miejsce przyjechaliśmy troche wcześniej z myślą, że zostawimy samochód i pójdziemy coś zjeść. Od razu przywitał nas bardzo serdecznie gospodarz. Opowiedział nam o sobie, o obiekcie. Wszystko wyjaśnił ze szczegółami. Niesamowita osoba!!! Ogród i wnętrza dopracowane do perfekcji. W pokojach herbata, kawa z expresu, woda, chipsy, ciasteczka. I ten klimat…, wspaniale. Jest też wspólna przestrzeń z sofami, stolikami, telewizorem. Nie trzeba siedzieć tylko w pokoju. Na zewnątrz pomieszczenie z kuchnią bardzo dobrze wyposażone. Rano dla gości, którzy przygotowywali śniadanie we własnym zakresie czekały ciasteczka od gospodarza. Szkoda, że byliśmy tam tylko jedna noc. Będę polecała to miejsce wszystkim.

The hosts were so kind and passionate that they would always be happy to offer us what we needed. We had reserved a family room which was fantastic that the design, the style and the furnitures there were so cozy, making us a wonderful stay in Aviemore. They have a shared kitchen and lounge area that we could make our own breakfast and dinner there which I like the most about this B&B. We definitely will come back again next time we go to Aviemore!

Excellent quiet location that is easily accessible on foot and by public transport right in the centre of town. Gracious hosts and a wonderful setup for everyone from walkers and climbers through to those there on business.

Nothing, everything was excellent.

The bed was extremely comfy and loved the bothy for drinking in and playing games on an evening, it was an excellent opportunity to meet people from other parts of the world. The coffee machine was also great. Ken thank you again for your very hospitable service - if we ever needed anything you were very approachable.

I like to call it improvements: 1. Interestingly internationals didn’t know what a bothy was - would be great to have an information sheet of the history of bothys. 2. The most minor issue - the hairdryer flickered the lights on and off but didn’t dampen our stay in the slightest!!

Ken and Gill were fantastic hosts, incredibly welcoming and friendly from start to finish. We stayed for two nights in one of the glamping pods, which was extremely well maintained, modern and very comfortable. Everything was spotlessly clean, and we were pleasantly surprised by how spacious the pod felt once inside, thanks to the tall ceiling. The whole set-up is really lovely, and it’s only a short walk into the town centre, with plenty of great bars and restaurants nearby. We’d highly recommend staying here.
