Relaxing and beautiful property. The owner, Sarah is so considerate and takes real good care.

Nothing really. We wanted to stay in a village and on a farm and The Firs ticked all boxes.

Host was wonderful. Really friendly welcome made us feel truly comfortable. Coffee and cakes and a roaring fire on arrival and helpful suggestions for evening meal. Quiet and clean, beautiful accommodation, comfortable bed and wonderful breakfast with far too many options!! Fruit salad and fresh yoghurt was amazing, fresh coffee, full breakfast with proper thick bacon....warm croissants...perfect!! Cannot recommend enough.

This is a beautiful B&B, with a super host. From arrival to leaving everything about Firs Farm was delightful. The guest sitting room, with log fire and fabulous tea and home made cakes on arrival was such a super surprise. Our room was perfect and the bed exceptionally comfortable! Breakfast was spot on, with a great choice; absolutely everything tasting delicious. I couldn’t recommend it more and we will definitely be back.

Really loved visiting. Warm welcome great conversation,a happy time. Delicious home baked lemon drizzle cake with tea on arrival, hearty generous breakfast with homemade preserves. So very quiet and comfortable, including snug soft bedding good shower and even dressing gowns and slippers. Beautiful Yorkshire farming countryside. Where is the "button" for 11 out of 10?
