Apartment Borovac

A magic place upp on a mountain. The hostess was helpful and very friendly. The breakfast was very good, just product's from her garden, very fresh and tasty. I strongly recommend.

Fantastic place, terrace facing the hills. The hostess was exceptionally welcoming and nice. Loved the atmosphere, fabulous breakfast and delicious homemade wine.

Everything was perfect!

We spent one night here to break the journey between Split and Dubrovnik. After a little difficulty locating the flat, the owner came and got us in his car. Very friendly owners, though very little English spoken. Lovely bottle of wine waiting for us. We ate in Restaurant Kula, which was very good. Lovely balcony with beautiful view of mountains. Excellent breakfast the following morning with lovely home made produce.

We had some trouble locating the flat - if coming by car, carry on up the hill until you see a sign for the fortress on the right. Park beside the sign and the flat is on your left. Very small kitchen area - we didn't need to cook but think this could have been challenging!

Beautiful location and wonderful hosts. The breakfast with everything made there on location was wonderful. Hope to return and stay for a few days in the future when we have more time.

Everything! We made a last minute reservation and surprised the host, but she was lovely and welcoming, gave us a bottle of homemade wine and a lot of cheese to have while we were waiting for the room. The area is lovely. We loved the view and tranquility and we highly recommend it! The breakfast was great with lots of self made marmalades, cheese, butter and lots of other stuff. It was a great stay!

Apartment Borovac is in a stunning location, perched on the hill that leads to the fortress of Vrgorac. Best views of the city are from there. Hosts were superfriendly, attentive and helpful and made us feel very comfortable and welcome from day 1. Breakfast is included and was extraordinary and hearty. Everything was homemade and produced by our lovely hosts. All in all, it was a very comfortable and great stay. Would definitely recommend!

Very much in the country. A small working farm with homemade wine provided at check in. All food made on farm: Home made bread, jams, honey, eggs, meats, and cheeses, along with lavender tea and coffee. Charming!

Easier to arrive in day light. You travel up the hill toward the fortress to get there. We were a little worried in the dark, but the owner came out. Drive toward the light.

The breakfast is like nothing else we have ever experienced. Delicious fresh food produced and made right at the premise. As a local person said to us, Apartment Borovac is how Croatian tourism is meant to be.

Very quiet and nice. You feel like you are in the country yet still close to the town. There is a path to the old castle and the breakfast was all homemade. Excellent!

The shower is a little difficult from what we are used to but it is clean and nice.
