Une nuit au second Chambre d hôtes

It was a lovely charming characterful room. The bed was comfortable and the facilities were of good quality including a kettle, tea and coffee and a fridge. The host Agnès was wonderful even posting my lost watch back to the UK. The location was perfect for the old town and the central area very close to the metro and also quiet.

The room has no a/c but 2 fans were provided and with the shutters closed the room was tolerable on the hottest ever day France has had!

Le charme d'un bel immeuble du vieux Lyon. Chambre aménagée avec goût, dans l'esprit des demeures bourgeoises. Literie et services annexes de qualité. Merci pour la gentillesse de l'accueil !

The house is beautiful, and the furniture is excellent—far beyond my expectations. The room has its own private bathroom and separate toilet, which made our stay very comfortable. The host has thoughtfully taken care of every detail. The kettle was already filled with water for us, and the mini bar was stocked with delicious fruit juice. There was also a great selection of coffee and tea available in the entrance hall. When we returned late in the evening, we were touched to find candles and lights left on in the hallway, creating such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Thanks a lot for the kindness and hospitality. We truly appreciated it.

Ein sehr professionelles und nettes willkommen. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön eingerichtet. Man fühlt sich in die 60er Jahre zurückversetzt. Sehr liebevoll eingerichtet.

Nichts

The place was beautiful! We loved being in a “real” apartment. The bed and bedding were very comfortable. The amenities were well thought out. We had a mini-fridge which included water and juice. There was substantial space to hang items. The water closet was separate from the shower. Our hostess Agnes was absolutely delightful!

Nothing! Note that there is no A/C, but that wasn’t a problem at all for us. We had 2 available good fans, and opening the windows provided ample air flow.

O apartamento é muito confortável e muito bonito, além de fácil de chegar, bem localizado mas ainda num lugar calmo, o que deixa bem silencioso. Fomos muito bem recebidos, com café e chá disponíveis!

Talvez o lado negativo seja que o piso é bem barulhento, o que faz com que seja difícil andar pelo quarto sem acordar a outra pessoa. Também não tem ar condicionado, o que é normal pra um imóvel antigo, e elas deixaram dois ventiladores no quarto, o que resolveu super bem

Room in the apartment oozes charm and is an easy walk from town centre. Agnes was brilliant and extremely helpful.
