"Had a perfect one night stay at this lovely farmhouse."

Got the warmest of welcomes from the friendly host Karen. Our room was lovely with fabulous views.Homemade shortbread and ginger biscuits.Toiletries in bathroom. Great nights sleep.There is a lounge specifically for guests and plenty information about local area and amenities.Breakfast was amazing!! What a selection. We had full a English cooked to perfection. We would love to stay there again

Friendly, welcoming and very hospitable. Excellent breakfast. Lovely attention to detail and really nice to have treats in the room. Also good to have sitting room and tv downstairs and outside sitting area. Great value - would highly recommend.

We chose Lily Hill Farm B&B as an overnight stop on our way from Scotland to Norfolk (Fri 22/8) and return journey (Sat 30/8). Our Hosts, Karen & Frank were very welcoming. The room was very comfortable, with home made scones & biscuits to go with the tea/coffee facilities. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice, and set us up for the day. A good place to stop for exploring Barnard Castle and area. Highly recommended.

Fantastic, quiet, rural location. We had a great stay in a very comfortable room. Loved our welcome treats when we arrived and watching all the birds swooping outside our window. Breakfast was amazing and we’ve already recommended it to family and friends. We would happily return.
