The mattress needed replacing and putting a mattress topper on instead doesn’t work. The shower was very low in power. The location is very noisy.

Really friendly staff and food

We were given a very friendly welcome by Charlie, who showed us to our room, which was spacious with a large, very comfortable bed and lots of storage. A kettle, tea, coffee, biscuits, a bottle of water etc were provided. The complimentary toiletries were lovely! Prior to our stay, Claire had been extremely helpful and kind, answering various questions and providing very helpful information. This set the tone for a great stay in this very welcoming market town.

Not anything that we disliked but, given the age of the historical Courthouse building, it should be borne in mind that certain allowances have to be made for this.
