Difficult to work on a laptop in small room but small table provided and offset by the value for money and excellent wifi

Booking in very easy and pleasant staff showed us to the room. Everything we needed for one night stay. We didn't require any meals. Checking out again very easy; just post key in required box and close door behind you.

Two things were annoying: The basin tap needs attention - the water pressure was so low it only dribbled water, both hot and cold. So we had to use the supplied bottled water to fill the kettle for an early cup of tea in the morning. And filling the basin for washing took forever. And the basin plug jammed down so we couldn't drain the basin either. After much pressing and swearing, we managed to just raise it enough to allow the water to drain. Suggest they need a plumber to take a close look.

Room was quite small and stuffy. We felt the price was high for a room only offering.

Laundry cupboard was in my room, was trying to sleep during the day but was disturbed by the cleaner needing to access the cupboard. She was very polite and super fast so can't complain just a bad location for the cupboard.

I had a two year with me and coming in one night through the bar I was followed by a staff member off duty who was drinking and shouted at that i couldn't bring my child into the bar. I was heading towards the door to the bedrooms, I was not heading to the bar and it was quite busy in the bar so it was extremely embarrassing
