poor sleeping arrangements

didnt get any breakfast, thought this was strange. It stated b&b.

Every thing is very bad ...actually i shocked ....didn't sleep ...very dirty ..bad smell.....the sofa and bed wet ...unfriendly and unfeasible staff the worst night i remember

Very friendly staff.

Guest didn't stay for breakfast. There were fleas in the carpet of the room allocated, when he was offered a different room, the toilet was backed up and had faeces and urine spilling on to the floor. When he went downstairs to complain, he was intimidated by the guests and owners. he simply left his key and relocated to another hotel.

The staff could have been more accommodating when a complaint was made instead of being intimidating. The pictures on the website are misleading.

Absolutely nothing sadly, we arrived to an extremely loud pub which you’d expect but it had broken windows, drug smokers, beyond drunken customers and a 24 hour betting shop next door, we were told not to go out after dark for fear of being assaulted or robbed but we braved that to go for a pizza and wished we hadn’t!!! We walked back in to the bar to get a drink to witness the barman and a drunk woman screaming at one another, the smell of weed and our filthy room (happy to provide pics). My wife and our pet were absolutely terrified, the smoking area was an alleged beer garden IN A BACK ALLEY, we had no wish to stay for breakfast, we left the keys in the door and ESCAPED before breakfast, stopped at a petrol station to buy a sandwich for our 4 hour journey. Longest, scariest nosiest night of our lives. Hopefully this was a one off and the next family find it amazing and call us snobs but we doubt that very much.

It was absolutely filthy, stains on the carpet and sofa bed in two pieces pushed together, the pillows dirty toilet had a returning turd every time we flushed the smell of urine in the bathroom, holes you could feel under your shoes under the carpet, you couldn’t take your shoes off the carpet was filthy, because of the fighting downstairs we didn’t feel safe to complain,walls with filthy marks, just a terrible experience

The room was comfortable and clean. There was little noise from inside the tavern. The Wifi was good. Location is good, near train station and the shops. Bar keeper who took me to my room was friendly and explained everything well.

Outside environment is not great. Dewsbury town center is not great. There is no breakfast available and no alternative outside before at least 9 am.
