Abode Above at Tor View

Great little B&B is very clean. The owners Lisa and James are very welcoming and know the area well. Off road parking which is great and free. It's about a 5 minute walk in to harbour but a little longer back as streets are very steep. You can hire a bike in the harbour and ride along the old railway line. Also, you have Rick Stein restaurants in the harbour, which was great. You also have a number of good pubs, restaurants and takeaways ie bakery,fish and chip shops. Some retail shops and gift shops and a Tesco as you come into the village. Land end is a must, but it is about one and a half hrs from Padstow, but it will be worth a visit.

Combination of quiet location yet also ease of secure reserved parking .Location ideal for access to central Padstow by means of a short walk down the hill.Very friendly owners and delicious continental filling breakfast .The option to leave car a while on the drive after checkout was really appreciated.

Everything! The location of Tor View..only a short 10min walk into the harbour with shops and restaurants. Lovely views from the breakfast room. Excellent quality continental breakfast ..great fruit salad! The use of a fridge with fresh milk available! Immaculately clean throughout. Parking on private drive Friendly, helpful hosts.

Nothing really apart from next time we'd pay more and choose a Seaview /larger room.

Clean & comfortable room with lovely views. Comfortable bed, white linen. Secure & convenient to park on drive. Good location with short walk to harbour, shops & restaurants. Large Smart Screen TV.

It would be nice to have an Nespresso (pod) coffee machine in the room OR a cafetière with ground coffee bags. We were provided with the front door code because there was only one front door fob. It would have also been better to have a second bedroom door key to accommodate both of us coming and going at different times so we didn’t have to leave the bedroom door unlocked.

Double room with an ensuite. TV with a kettle to make tea or coffee. Brilliant location. Easy walk into the village. Off street parking. Continental breakfast with the most delightful view. Very friendly and accommodating hosts.

Teeny tidy shower- drop the soap at your peril. Unable to access streaming programmes on the TV- first world problems 🤷‍♀️

The room was compact (which we had opted for) but with everything we needed and a view over the estuary. The en suite was a generous size with an excellent shower. We had continental breakfast and chose the porridge which was perfect. The breakfast room has fantastic views over the estuary. Our hosts were extremely welcoming and accommodating.

The bed was a little on the soft side for us but this is just our personal choice and I am sure most people would find it very comfortable. It did not affect our enjoyment in any way.
