The Dundonald Guesthouse & Cottage

The cottage we rented was extremely nice and comfortable and fully equipped. Breakfast was exceptional, delivered everyday to our doorstep. Our host was attentive and communicative. The area is extremely quiet and the cottage is a short walk to the Red Lion Inn.

The only thing we could think of improving is the wifi signal at the back of the house (bathroom, second bedroom, terrace).

No biscuits on the tea/coffee welcome tray .A nice touch would have been the Tunnoks tea cake / caramel included but you had to buy them .A little detail

Entering this property was a delight; the decor is beautiful and the fusion of contemporary and vintage furniture and artefacts felt both luxurious and homely. High quality linen and towels, modern shower and a very comfortable bed. Great selection of wines and spirits available in the room, together with modern appliances and gorgeous smelling toiletries. Everything about Dundonald was excellent, but it was the friendly and efficient staff which makes it exceptional.
