The Dales

Everything! Chris is a lovely lady , very friendly and helpful. Spacious room with a nice view to the street and the park. Few minutes walking to the town centre. Bed very comfortable, all facilities available. Fruits and beautiful flowers in our room. Many restaurants and shoppings around. Room and bathroom very clean, sparkling, room service done every single day. Chris prepared our breakfast of our choice and it was delicious. Very quiet place. Nice environment. Umbrellas available for guests. Chris is definitely a proper host and for sure take care of the place and her guests , showing genuine hospitality, very attentive to the guests needs. We felt welcomed , confortable and like we were at home. Definitely we will be back to "The Dales".

Chris and Roy were lovely hosts and made us feel very welcome. We had a room with a spacious separate bathroom. Both room and bathroom were linked by a private hallway and we had total privacy. The room was lovely. Chris had left pieces fruit and a small vase of flowers to welcome us. Our special dietary requirements were accommodated: the fruit melange for breakfast was gorgeously delicious with fresh raspberries, mango, pineapple, grapes etc. Decaffeinated tea was provided in a lovely teapot. The full English breakfast provided each morning was lovely. There’s a utility room for guests use including microwave, refrigerator, small table and a full sized ironing board. As it was quiet during our stay, we were able to eat food we had prepared for our evening meal. Chris provided plates and cutlery. The location is ideal being only a short walk from the town centre, and directly opposite the valley gardens where we went for evening walks. Umbrellas are provided in the entrance lobby in case of rain.

The outside steps to the front entrance are on the steep side. While this didn’t affect us, it could be an issue for people who have mobility issues.

BREAKFAST was spot on. I really enjoyed the "full English".

Great room in fabulous old house just 10 minutes walk from the town centre. The room was bright and spacious with some lovely added touches i.e flowers and fruit. Comfortable bed in a spotlessly clean room. The breakfast choices were very generous and we opted for the full English breakfast which didn’t disappoint. The host was very friendly she made us feel welcome from the minute we arrived.

Great location in a lovely part of Harrogate. Chris was a superb host and our room was lovely . Breakfast was cooked to order and was excellent. Highly recommend .

Chris was very welcoming and friendly. Very helpful, we parked just outside the front door and we were given a parking permit for the duration of our stay. Spotlessly clean. Perfect location. Breakfasts were very good. Thank you so much, Chris, we'll be back.
