A wonderful stay. Stunning location and region. Lovely village. Great walks and really good breakfast and very helpful and knowledgeable host.

The owner, Theresa, gave us a very warm welcome and showed us around her house and gardens. We were free to use the family lounge and dining areas, and she always encouraged us to make full use of her beautiful garden. Our bedroom was excellent, being very airy and warm, and well fitted out with refreshments, a welcoming ensuite bathroom, a good sized television, plus a large and extremely comfortable bed. There was a wide and varied selection of breakfast dishes, most of which we tried and all of which were superbly prepared by Theresa, a professional cook.

There was nothing we disliked.

Exceptional breakfast, really comfortable bed with quality bedding. Use of a separate living room. Nice quiet location with an accomplished host.

We had a fantastic stay at Field end cottage. I can't recommend it enough. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Teresa is a brilliant host, very warm and approachable nothing was too much trouble. She is very knowledgeable about the area. Breakfast was incredible, the menu had everything you could wish for and it was well cooked and presented on a perfectly laid table. Our twin room was light, spacious, clean and warm with a gleaming bathroom ensuite. Tea/coffee making facilities and toiletries are supplied in the room and are of a good quality. There's a very comfortable sitting room available to use with a large TV. Tea/coffee is available here too and is delivered on a well laid tray. Accommodation has ample parking which felt very secure and the garden is beautiful. Teresa goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome, as do her two gorgeous dogs Brillo and Fig so friendly!! We cannot thank Teresa enough for everything, we would love to return again one day 😊

Pillows were a little soft, but the host was very happy to supply a firmer one for the second night
