"Nice place, could do with knowing the restaurant was shut"

The room was bright and clean with a complimentary bottle of water.

Its location, 11km from town meant I had to re mount the bike and go into town as there was no mention the restaurant was not open. If I had known I would have eaten before going to the hotel. It was made worse as the heavens had opened.

"A quiet rural stay, well off the beaten track, but worth the visit."

The room was clean and comfortable, the temperature just right despite a hot day, and the breakfast was excellent.

It took some time to communicate with the staff, who were not present when we arrived; better information in the confirmation e-mail would have made everything much easier, especially since the staff spoke English only a little better than I speak German. Phone calls made this harder, but all went well eventually, with a little patience all round.
