Lynne and mat are excellent hosts. Our every need was accounted for even booked us in at really short notice. We will definitely be going back. Recommend a visit.

Set in the heart of the national park, by a river in a quiet idyllic "hamlet". The rooms are just beautiful and laced with little extras, like sweeties and lollipops 🍭 the bed was very comfortable and for me the room was nicely heated. But the host Matt, really stole the show. This guy is generous of heart and kindness. We arrived too late on our travels for a pub meal. Matt waited up and prepared us a hearty meal. Big portions (and for breakfast too). He also helped me with a complicated issue relating to my motorcycle. Boy did he help! He stayed the course with me till it was resolved. This was his Sunday too and I know he and his wife Lynn had things too, to do. THANK YOU SO MUCH. If you stay with Matt and Lynn you will see they go more than the extra mile. Very kind hearted and very generous. PS, I liked the cold drinks in the common area, including a variety of beers, waters, and fizzing drinks. Another lovely touch.

The biggest let down for me personally was I only spent one night 😆. I am looking forward to returning in May for a proper weekend.

Pre arrival communication with information from the owners was excellent, from how to find them to where to eat and local landmarks and entertainment. On arrival our greeting from the hosts was genuine and friendly and throughout the stay we were so well looked after, including a visit to their local. The room and its facilities was second to none - There was everything we needed and more, so many lovely little touches. A fabulous breakfast with all you could possibly eat was just a perfect start to our day

Good selection on breakfast, nothing was too much trouble from the host. The room was clean and decorated to the highest standards and the view was great too. Not much to do in the village but didnt bother us as the walks were great.

Bed was a little too soft for our liking but cant please us all.

The rooms were extremely spacious and tidy and the hosts were only what you could describe as the upmost accommodating.

If you’re not the most confident of drivers the roads leading to the property and the parking situation can get a bit tricky, if you’re confident at reversing and 3 point turns you’ll do just fine!

The host does welcome you and help you with whatever need you have.
