The place is clean, simple and spacious. It’s in a local neighbourhood so you could feel the local culture and sleeping with natural sounds. Host is super nice.

As it’s simple, less supplies are provided in the room, like shampoo and hair dryer. Also the natural sound (frog, bugs, chickens) might going into sleep with you or wake you up. But of course these have not problems with me;)

大型スーパーが遠いこと。 食材の調達には不便でした。

Great location if you don’t wanna stay in the Center of Ubud and get a feeling of being a kind of part of a Balinese village for some time. Super nice people around and great hosts I had nice conversations with. Spacious rooms and a lot of nature. That means here a frogs, snails and you might will have a gecko in your room. These are a part of Balis nature! And I liked it. You don’t want that? Then stay in a the Center.

Being in Penestanan, a village next to Ubud Center you need to know that roosters are belonging to Balinese culture. Meaning you will hear here quite some rooster noise beginning in the very early morning. But if you wanna stay authentic and comfortable in a village where so many Balinese smiling at you, greeting you and asking „Kamu Dari Mana / where are you from“ then this is the place to be. Also you will hear the noise of the bikes from the street behind the field - not close but you can hear them. Also this is often something common here.

The owners were very kind and accommodating. The room just as the picture, clean and large with a nice view. Thank you for a lovely stay. I'm looking forward to returning

Very large room and large bathroom also. Very clean!! Had everything I needed…little bar fridge was useful…and somewhere to hang clothes. Very peaceful except for the roosters, but they weren’t too bad and that’s expected in Bali. The owners cleaned my room daily, which was very nice. Lovely owners and good location…walking distance to Penestanan cafes.

The only thing was that the curtains are quite thin/light and if others left their outside light on overnight it was a bit light in the room, but it didn’t really impact me.
