Quito Eco Lodge Airport - B&B

Pat & Maria were so accommodating. They waited & welcomed us at the front of the house. Their dog is also very cute! Very comfortable beds, nice hot showers and delicious pizzas for dinner! Pat was very knowledgeable and helpful in recommendations for Galapagos, a very warm and friendly stay in a great location close to the airport. Ideal for an early morning flight. Pat kindly gave us a lift to the airport for a good price. Would 100% recommend this B&B. Thanks for having us!

Idealer Aufenthalt für den Transit. Dicht am Flughafen gelegen. Trotzdem erstaunlich ruhig. Der Host ist sehr aufmerksam und man kann auch Essen machen lassen.

Ein paar Liegen und Stühle vor dem Haus wären schön gewesen.

Wir sind abends am Flughafen in Quito angekommen und früh morgens mit einem nationalen Flug weitergeflogen. Dafür war die Unterkunft ideal. Wir wurden durch Patricio und Maria am Flughafen abgeholt und sehr herzlich empfangen. Zum Abendessen haben wir uns für eine Pizza entschieden - sehr lecker! Danach ergab sich noch ein spannendes Gespräch in gemütlicher Atmosphäre. Morgens um 4 wurden wir dann wieder zum Flughafen gebracht. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Für längere Aufenthalte liegt die Unterkunft recht weit ab, so dass für Tagesausflüge o.ä. ein Auto/ Taxi notwendig ist.

Pat was a lovely host. He was very responsive. Bed was comfortable, shower had hot water and it was very close to the airport.

Wifi wasn’t good for more than checking email and other simple activities.

The Eco Lodge is a sort of bed-and-breakfast near the Quito airport, but is remarkably tranquil and quiet. It is a ranch-style house, so everything is on the ground floor There are no restaurants or shops nearby, but homemade meals are available on site (breakfast is free). The host can also provide transportation from or to the airport for a reasonable fee. The place is homey and very inexpensive for the area. The hosts speak Spanish and English, and are friendly and welcoming.

We stayed here just for one night between two flights and it was perfect for that purpose. The owner kindly picked us up at the airport and also drove us early the next morning to catch our flight, for a small fee. Both hosts are extremely kind and welcoming, which made us feel very comfortable from the start. The owner speaks excellent English and shared many useful and interesting insights about Ecuador and the Galápagos, where we were heading the next day. In the evening, they even prepared a delicious pizza for us, which was exactly what we needed after a long travel day. They also have an adorable dog that made our stay even more pleasant. The room was comfortable, quiet, and we slept really well. Overall, a short but truly enjoyable stay, and we are very grateful for the warm hospitality.

Nuestra experiencia en Eco Quito Lodge fue excelente. El lugar es tranquilo, rodeado de naturaleza y muy bien cuidado. Las habitaciones son cómodas y limpias, perfectas para descansar después de un día de viaje. Queremos agradecer especialmente al señor Patricio, que nos permitió dejar la moto en el lodge mientras estuvimos en Galápagos, lo cual fue de gran ayuda. Y no podemos dejar de mencionar la comida de la señora María: ¡simplemente deliciosa, casera y hecha con mucho cariño! Nos sentimos como en casa y sin duda recomendamos Eco Quito Lodge al 100%. Volveremos!
