FRit was close to the airport
There was no one present when we arrived (my mother is 87 and not in the greatest health) and so we were waiting outside for around half an hour. We had actually started to think we had been scammed as the place seemed shut up. The rooms had no air con or fans and it was a particularly hot day/evening. The bathroom was not ensuite as advertised but across the hallway from the room. We understood there was an airport shuttle service from the details on Booking.com but in fact it was a taxi service run by the owner and we were charged 16 GBP for a journey that was less than a mile. We would not stay again.
GBAmazing little cottage. Homely and 4 mins away from the airport. A little gem.
The little touches of leaving milk and orange juice in the fridge. The phone call in the day to just make sure we were aware of how everything worked and the rooms are so cosy you don’t want to leave. Will be using again without doubt.
