Great place with a lovely host who was really accommodating with us by allowing us to check in early so that we could get to a wedding on time that was down the road. Really quirky and unusual building with comfortable rooms. Considering it’s located near to a main road, we found it lovely and quiet still. The host was really nice and her breakfast was outstanding, great quality ingredients and cooked to perfection. Thank you for having us!

Our stay at Fiddleback Farm exceeded all our expectations!! The farm is set in beautiful grounds, the rooms are spacious, comfortable and have everything you need. The owner and family are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Our breakfast was 5* and set us up for the day. Can't wait to come back Thank you Fiddleback for a fabulous stay

Katie is an amazing host - v friendly, attentive+welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. Cooked breakfasts were delicious with plenty of choice. Plenty of safe parking - well off the road.

I've stayed in a lot of properties via Booking.com and I wouldn't rate it as Exceptional. I would say it was v good though. Not used to being near a railway line. I could also hear road noise too. Shower was OK but found the temperature control temperamental+I'm also used to a large power shower. Pillows were flat+unsupportive. Host has a v young family nearby (2 boys who are 4+2 yrs old). Boys are v energetic+noisy in the mornings+Katie does an amazing job at keeping them settled. However, I don't have children+found the noise distracting.

This was an absolute gem of a find. Such a cute place with a very kind hostess. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was great. I would absolutely recommend this for anyone looking to stay in the area.

We stayed here on our way to the Highlands and found it to be a perfect stopover. The property is a beautifully renovated period farm building with plenty of character. Our room was large, comfortable, spotlessly clean, and wonderfully quiet, making for a very relaxing stay. The location is ideal for onward travel, and the owner was extremely helpful and welcoming throughout. Breakfast was excellent — freshly cooked with high-quality ingredients and clearly prepared with care. We would happily stay again.
