Torridon Estate B&B Rooms and Self catering Holiday Cottages

Torridon is a beautiful corner of the Highlands. The room was as pictured. The breakfast was fine.

We stayed in the King Room with Sea View. There doesn’t seem to be any sound insulation in this room. Footsteps, coughs, conversations from above can be heard very loudly in the room. We were woken at 2/3am by the sound of a LOUD television with CNN/BBC streaming news updates from the Iran war. This continued for some time. Sleep wrecked. We shared the issue at breakfast and were told that this would be passed onto the owners but there was no follow up. Or to an email. I can see from prior reviews that this has been an reoccurring issue for other guests. + The room's only heating seems to be two portable electrical heaters. It was cold enough to be wearing a coat indoors. + The entrance to the house could be viewed as charmingly eccentric...it felt more dirty and cluttered. Read the other reviews. The hosts don't seem want to address issues that cause guests inconvenience, or a bad stay. Plan accordingly.

Love the location, the room, the house, the bed and the cat. The breakfast was a peasant surprise too.

Rooms excellent in a beautiful setting

Breakfast was the same both days and no choice. No tv. Bit of a scary drive to the main house.
