This is a very high end B&B. Lovely room. Spotlessly clean. Fabulous breakfast and a friendly welcome. Also private parking. No complaints at all and would highly recommend.

Thank you Tina and Vanessa for a lovely stay in your beautiful home. Gorgeous, clean, well kept property with a beautiful garden. The breakfast was lovely and highly recommend Vanessa’s delicious homemade Bircher.

"Great base to explore the North York Moors."

What a wonderful B&B. As you enter the garden to the Grange it feels like an oasis of calm and is beautifully maintained by Vanessa. Tea and cakes on arrival were very much appreciated and were delicious. Our Room, the York Suite, is the largest and has a lovely space for sitting and reflecting on our daily trips to Whitby, Staithes and of course the gorgeous Thornton le Dale. Do get some chocolate there, made on site and delicious especially if you are gluten free. Tina and Vanessa are a mine of information and very happy to share their stories and advise on places to eat, drink and explore. The highlight for me at breakfast was the Bircher Muesli that Vanessa makes and you can take the recipe home with you too. I am a convert now! Of course there are plenty of other options and the full cooked breakfast looked delicious. I had scrambled eggs on toast and there are several types of marmalade to choose from too. If you can get into the Grange it is well worth visiting.

There wasn't anything I didn't like. The owners can't make the rain stop!

"Stylish well appointed B & B well run, if a bit too personal"

Beautiful B & B and gardens and immaculately clean, comfortable, stylish room with every facility you could ask for.

Uncomfortable feeling at breakfast time, no menu although the brief menu in the room gave you an indication of what was available. Not the best of experiences. Over zealous staff/owners.

High quality accommodation with a relaxed friendly atmosphere. Tina & Vanessa work very hard to ensure that everybody's stay is perfect. Excellent breakfasts Great location for both the village & exploring the area.
