A welcoming host, very pleasant, comfortable room and an excellent breakfast. Good value for money.

It was excellent for us as it was mainly on the flat with no stairs , it was very clean with our room being tidied and our beds being made every day .

Nothing to dislike .

We liked everything about Tayburn House! It was an easy and beautiful walk from the train station. Trevor met us at the reception area where we instantly felt welcomed and comfortable. Our room was lovely, clean, comfortable and quiet even though the guest house was full of other guests. Trevor gave us some guidance for local activities and suggestions for dinner in the local village. We walked to The Hermitage and enjoyed a beautiful afternoon in the lush forest before walking into Dundalk for dinner. In the morning Trevor prepared us an absolutely beautiful breakfast with many options available to us and the other guests, which was served in the cozy dining room with a lovely fire and low-volume music in the background. A wonderful way to begin our day of travel. Thank you Trevor! If we are ever in that area of Scotland again we will definately be coming to stay at Tayburn House again. Breakfast was superb...a combination of hot and cold dishes...freshly cooked and the host Trevor was welcoming as was his mother on our arrival. The location is excellent because there are wildlife attractions nearby and Dunkeld is a place of historical significance. The accommodation was very clean, bed comfortable and solid attractive furniture.

A tiny improvement....The milk on our tea tray was long life and we would have preferred fresh but think that if we had asked for fresh it would have been provided.

Our host could not have been more welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was superb. The room was very clean and spacious. Dunkeld was only a short riverside walk.

Nice big room and tasty breakfast.
