It was comfy and clean and close to my friend.

There was not any breakfast served. TV did not work. Never saw who I rented the room from, so could never ask anything.

Stayed last night 26th April 2025, Owner very hospitable, on arrival, even dropped us into town as both in late 60's with mobility, very disappointed as when asked what time breakfast was, he said we dont do it any more even tho it was all laid out for breakfast, advised have healready advised booking .com, we would not have paid 160.00 to just go to bed, personally think the price is very high, very disappointed in that fact, but overall as above very hospitable and friendlygill and keith stokoe

I really don't like to leave a bad review, but the experience warrants it. Let's hope it was a one-off, but I won't be returning to find out. I sent my time of arrival the day before, but there was no-one answering the door when I got there. I was left standing in the rain for 20 minutes, no answer on two phone numbers provided either. Very unsettling for a lone female traveller. I returned two hours later after receiving a rather confusing callback from the host, again there was no answer at the door at first. Then I was informed there would be no breakfast (this was not evident at the time of booking). Was woken up at 5.30 by clanging noises coming from what I think was the kitchen. How ironic.

The help given by the landlady was beyond my expectation. Our lugguages were delayed and arrived wo toiletries ie toothbrushes, toothpaste and chargers. She gave these to us with no cost. Very good service
