Had a very nice stay at the Endeavour the host Cameron was really nice and welcoming. The breakfast was excellent. Our room was small but adequate for a a one or two night stay. The location was good for what we wanted. Comfy bed.

Our room was quite tired in our opinion ready for a little refurb, but it was clean.

Lovely little hotel in a great location. Very clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly. Best full english breakfast ive had in years. Would definitely recommend.

I don't normally give such high praise. Endeavour was recommended by a friend who stayed there a year ago. It was fantastic. Cameron is an amazing host and the property is truly great. Cameron easily engages with all guests and makes everyone feel comfortable and welcome. The bedroom is very comfortable, clean, and well appointed and decorated. On the lower floor you can rest in a lounge, complete with snacks and drinks (paid for by an honour system). The dining/breakfast room faces the street - fruit, yogurt, juice, cereals, and breakfast is cooked to order by Cameron. The food choices and quality are exceptional. I rate this accommodation and the host very highly and commend it to all - Captain Cook history buffs, weary travellers, or keen walkers.

Other than parking problems I have nothing negative to say, and that is No fault of Endeavour - visitors need to be aware that cars are not really welcome in the village of Staithes. If you drive down to the village you might find a 40 minute parking spot, enough time to unload or load. Turning around and going back up the hill is a nightmare. There are two parking options at the top of the steep hill - 400 metres away.
