The owner was kind. The view of the rice terraces was pretty.

I know this is a family business and this place is very popular with some, however, I appreciate honest reviews. The owners languages are Indonesian and French. It cost 100 000 IDR to get into Ubud center by Grab, and it is difficult to get anyone to drive there because of the location. While the room was tidy and clean, the smell of mold/mildew was so overwhelming it was a challenge to be in the room.

Pros: Bathroom had a shelf Bedroom had a small table, night stands Room was clean Hot water and pressure was decent for showering

Cons: Room was dark and smelled heavily of mildew. Probably a moisture issue from no AC. The sheets and towels were heavily scented to cover the smell. There was no soap in the bathroom. Only one outlet for the entire room so I had to choose between charging my phone or having the fan on which is a terrible choice when there is no AC and the air smells stale. Communication was a bit difficult.

- Nothing, all was good, ppl that come here are aware they will not be in hustle n bustle of central Ubud - Great little family business (Irak was in hospitality before so knows how to look after and ensure guests are happy and their needs cater for)

Beautiful location with a lovely view of the rice fields! We loved being off the beaten track. Nice little breakfast included. The people were lovely. Room and bathroom felt very clean and the bathroom felt really spacious for the size!

No air con and it did have a musty, damp smell.

The food was not good
