Handy location and easy to find. Sufficient off-road parking. Room 2 ( a downstairs twin) had a lovely modern shower ensuite. Everything was clean and comfortable.

The sound carried very clearly from the upstairs room — I could almost make out the words of the conversation — and general noise such as showers and taps running was also quite loud through the walls. In Room 2, the extractor fan produced a very sharp, high‑pitched noise, which made it unusable. For breakfast, it would be appreciated to have some plain options available, such as some natural yoghurt, wholemeal bread and muesli, rather than flavoured yoghurt and basic white/brown bread.

The room was a good size but it was in an annex with no out look.

The room was very dusty. The bathroom was mouldy and had a very strong damp smell.

The location is great in Fort Augustus or to visit the area. Walking distance to Loch Ness and the wee Spar shop. Breakfast was good

The lights in the bathroom were super dark, the water pressure was very low and the carpet all over the place, when everyone is wearing dirty wet shoes doesn't seem like the cleanest option.

Wir kannten die Unterkunft bereits von einem früheren Aufenthalt und buchten daher dieses Jahr drei Zimmer für uns und Familienangehörige. Die Unterkunft ist leicht zu finden und es sind nur ein paar Schritte ins Ortszentrum und ans Loch Ness. Der Besitzer der Unterkunft ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Private Parkplätze an der Unterkunft sind vorhanden und im Preis inbegriffen.

Zwei der von uns gebuchten Zimmer lagen im Dachgeschoss und waren nur über zwei steile Treppen erreichbar - ärgerlich, da im ersten Stock offensichtlich Zimmer frei waren. Die Zimmer waren sehr dunkel und nicht besonders sauber (insbesondere die Bäder) und schon deutlich "abgewohnt" - das hatten wir anders in Erinnerung. Den Preis für eine Übernachtung empfanden wir im Vergleich zu anderen Unterkünften auf unserer Rundreise relativ hoch.

Spacious comfortable and clean room, with a lovely ensuite, the B&B was a lovely place to stay for one night while walking the Great Glen way. A short walk to the restaurants and pubs in town and a very enjoyable place to visit once the tourist hordes have gone home!

Limited selection at the hot buffet breakfast was the only slight issue.

We should have asked for more pillows as the ones we had were a bit flat, apart from that the bed was nice and comfy
