The price-quality ratio is excellent, the location is perfect, and the whole family treated me wonderfully. They cleaned the room and made me feel at home. Balinese culture is amazing.

No fridge in the room, but it's not a big issue.

Oh my goodness, where to start! I have been travelling for a long time, and have never felt more peaceful, cared for and content than at Bella house. This home has incredible energy. I don’t see how anyone could have a bad time here. The property is absolutely beautiful; a large balcony wraps around the rooms, and every morning you can have breakfast there if you like. The breakfast is so incredibly good and so cheap for what it is! I wish I could have these banana pancakes every day. Waking up here has been the highlight of my trip so far. Such peace. The hosts made an effort to let me know about which ceremonies were happening in Ubud, advising me on what times to go and how to dress etc. I felt very lucky they took so much care with their guests. CLEANLINESS: Finally, and importantly, I had stayed in a a lot of properties that weren’t very clean and I just didn’t enjoy my time there because of it. Here, I immediately took a sigh of relief because the sheets were clean, the bathroom was super clean (despite what older reviews say) and my towel would be changed every 2 days, along with my bed being made every day. This was great service. LOCATION: The building itself is off one of the most exciting roads in Ubud, but quiet enough to feel secluded and rested. You might hear some slight noise from the bar at nights, but I think with the property being so close to key night venues (LOL, The Blue Door, Donna’s etc.) that it makes up for it, because so many of your activities are within walking distance.
