ALMAIDA II Gili Trawangan

Solid Breakfast, kind staff, had the bare minimum to stay, so its okay. Had bike rental for 35k idr per day and wifi worked well. Had a nice sink. Beside the insects it was clean. Didnt have any Mosquitos. A/C worked well.

Room was just the bed and one nightstand. Only cold water shower, had 6 cockroaches in 2 nights in the bathroom, in the bedroom was mostly good but there was a termite hill forming from ants on one wall. 2 of roaches died from poison so i guess they are trying to get rid of them, and there was some poison cans at the reception. Rooms were so hearthrough it felt like there was no wall and the bathroom door on the appartment next door was creaking so loud it felt unreal. Really loud bed, but comfortable. At least 20 min walk to any beach, some of the way unpaved so quite bad for luggage but it worked. No Fridge and no room service in our 2 night stay.

La relación calidad-precio no corresponde con lo que suele encontrarse en el sudeste asiático. Ha sido, probablemente, el hotel más caro que he pagado en toda mi estancia en Indonesia y, sin embargo, el que estaba en peores condiciones. La cama resultaba incómoda: hacía ruido y el colchón era muy duro. No había muebles para colocar la maleta o la ropa, únicamente una mesita de noche y un perchero con ganchos puntiagudos que pueden dañar las prendas. El baño no estaba limpio, había mosquitos y el único producto de aseo que se ofrecía para dos personas era una pequeña pastilla de jabón de manos. En las paredes había desconchones cubiertos con vinilo mal colocado, lo que daba un aspecto descuidado. En general, las instalaciones se percibían poco cuidadas y el desayuno era muy básico. Además, la ubicación está demasiado alejada de cualquier punto de interés.

Breakfast was very yummy and excellent, she is very friendly and helpful, including her husband. They provide bike rental with friendly rate as well, so you dont have to travel this small island by walk.

There is no wardrobe or a place to put our clothes, unless some hanging tag on the wall. No bathroom amenities either. And I was not provided a room key, so our room was not locked for the whole night

ALMAIDA II Hotel on Gili Trawangan Island was a truly wonderful experience! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would happily recommend this hotel to other budget conscious travelers. Friendly Staff – The staff are always helpful, smiling and create a truly warm atmosphere.

The space, the breakfast is delicious and the woman who keeps the place is super sweet. Location is great too. She even gave me a ride to the marina with all my bags when I checked out
