Villa Taman Kanti

The staff are extremely kind and gentle. The owner is very helpful. The villa is In a quiet place. 20 min form UBUD without traffics . The villa is big enough for a family . Cosy and good taste.

The things can be better is the coffee in the morning. And it will be better if they can change the towels. They are extremely used and old towels.

It is very rare for me to rate something full 10...! But here I have to! Comfortable, private, clean, quiet, AMAZING warm pool, beautiful garden, kind staff that either helps with whatever you need or leave you completely alone if you wish so. Breakfast was very very good (recommend crepes and omelettes). The whole place is like living in a balinese palace or an art gallery. Apparently the owner repurposed the roof of a local community center that was closing to build the beautiful terrace with centuries old wood and traditional crafts. Everything is so beautiful to look at and so comfortable to live in. All the western luxuries plus the jungle beauty. We will be back.

I love this property so much it’s actually better than the photographs a lot more nature now than the photographs here. Everything about the property was amazing. A real retreat

Outside bathroom, but that is only because mosquitoes love me and I would often get bitten when I go to the bathroom that is nothing to do with the property that happens no matter any location with an outside bathroom

My husband and I stayed a week at Villa Taman Kanti and had a wonderfully relaxing stay. The communication with the manager Putu beforehand was excellent and he was very considerate in ensuring we were comfortable. The staff could not have been more helpful. We were welcomed every day with a smile and all staff from those who served breakfast to the security were friendly and considerate. We loved the outdoor area which offered multiple options for relaxing. Thanks to all at the Villa for a great stay.

Nothing

The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Komang and Wayang. They helped make our breakfast, helped us when we were cooking our Christmas meal and had to help clean the Vila and help us with the pests in the Vila. The staff were trying their best to make our stay comfortable but due to the bad management of the Vila and lack of pest control in the Vila the staff were troubled.

The Vila cleanliness was very very poor...cobwebs, dust, lizard poo on the shelves and cupboards. The pool was never cleaned and dead insects and leaves were in the pool from Day 1 of our trip till the end. Maintenance of the external facilities were also poor. No pest control...as it was the monsoon season pests are common but the Vila had not done any pest control and the amount of wildlife and pests that entered the Vila was unacceptable. We had lizards, tokets, insects, rats all over the Vila not just outdoors. Each time we encountered a pest we had to shout for a staff to help us. The Vila has a cat and dog and we are not comfortable with them coming into our vila and they said they will keep it away in the staff area but on many occasions both the dog and cat would enter our Vila. The Vila staff would come set up for breakfast and then disappear and then appear to serve breakfast and then disappear again. Everytime i needed the staff i would have to msg the manager Putu or Kadek which was troublesome. The agreement is we are are supposed to have staff in the Vila throughout the day but until i made a fuss about the staff not being around the first 3 days we did not have the staff all day and i had to keep msging for the staff. The way the Vila was managed and run was very poor. Overall, though the facilities are there, the mismanagement and poor cleanliness made our stay bad. I would not stay in this Vila agin.

There isn't enough room to list all positive aspects of this booking. We greatly enjoyed our time at Villa Kanti - starting from the communication process and the arrangement of a driver to pick us up at the airport to the rooms (spacious, outside showers <3, clean and very comfy beds) to the staff that took care of us for breakfast, and if we wanted also for lunch and dinner. The pool was a dream - it is so nice to wake up in the morning and just jump in. The location was just fantastic - not too far from Ubud City but far enough to enjoy true tranquility. Perfect place to come down and maybe escape the busy day-to-day life. But then again, Ubud City is a short 10 Min Grab-ride away with all of its restaurants and bars.

There wasn't anything we didn't like.

The pool is unmatched with the peace and serenity you can get away from the hustle and bustle. Easily the best accomodation we stayed at here in BALI we will definitely be back.

Honestly I couldn’t fault a thing

THE BEST STAY EVER!!!! honestly, we are "professional travelers", and we like renting houses instead of hotels to get more of a local vibe. This villa was the best villa / house /accommodation ever rent. Our family is from New Zealand, so we got used to civilization, comfort, security etc. Traveling to Asia with children (girls 4 and 7) I was a little bit nervous. However, all my worries dissappear when I stepped my foot to this villa. Security is top notch, the villa itself is above any expectations (the photos do not represent its beauty, luxury and energetic vibe). The long swimming pool is so rare to find in Bali - most of the pools are just for soaking, while this pool is for entertainment, sport, views and so much more. Stuff and butler service is something else - I am a cook myself, so at those day when we did not want to ge out of the villa, I cooked myself and the friendliest staff ever always came to help me (to peel the veges, do the dishes, serve the meals). The service was sooooooo good, and people were sooooo friendly, while not intimidating our privacy (at the very first day I said about the importance of the privacy, so staff listened to it and they were super amazing!). Laundry service was great, I forgot how to do mu laundry 🤣 massage was amazing. Honestly, recommending this villa to everyone!!!

Location is a bit far from centre, but easily solved with local taxi service (grab, similar to uber). No regrets whatsoever for staying at this location.
