Brona Dempsey

Brona and her family were exceptionally accommodating, kind and brilliant hosts. Brona gave us tea, coffee, milk, a night cap!, fresh water and fresh fruit as well as a delicious breakfast. The accommodation was so spacious, clean, stylish and had everything you need. The home and location are so peaceful and stunning. My mum and I were attending a family wedding in Gloster House and the accommodation was very close to Gloster house which was brilliant. I would highly recommend staying here, instead of booking with a hotel, as our stay was so peaceful and tranquil.

Nothing it was fabulous

Beautifully decorated, self-contained accommodation in a peaceful area near Birr. The quality of the furnishings was exceptional and stylish. Brona was an incredibly gracious host and went out of her way to make us feel welcome and provide advice and tips to help us find food, and see the attractions of Birr.

The only incredibly minor issue we had was the blue light at the bottom of the IR alarm sensor mounted over the door would trigger in the middle of the night every time one of us rolled over and that woke me up a few times. Otherwise it was outstanding.

We were so pleased to find a clean and comfortable place to stay towards the end of our road trip after a couple subpar spots. Brona was a delight and brought a delicious breakfast to our room.

Perhaps the towels are on their last legs and could be replaced!

Brona was extremely welcoming and helpful. The attention to detail in the fantastic breakfast and the property was excellent. Thanks Brona for being so accommodating, we wish you well in the future, sorry for the late call again!

A beautiful property and Brona is an amazing host, she went above and beyond for our stay and we will definitely be back in the future.

Stayed 2 nights to go to a wedding. Beautiful rural location with very comfortable beds, sparkling clean and a delightful host. Brona was extremely kind and accommodating.
