Free parking. Close to Carrick on shannon. Good breakfast.

Although I was a solo traveller my booking stated that I had a double bed which I needed as I have a hip probably and need space to move. My booking was confirmed at 10.30am. At 11.15 (while travelling) I received a message on bookings.com that the room was a twin. I did not see this message as I was travelling. When I arrived I was brought to the room and explained it was not the room I had book as it had two single beds. I was offered to cancel but it was too late for me to get alternative accommodation. The description of rooms say they all have a seating areas, this did not, it was a small room. The mattresses were in my opinion well worn and uncomfortable. It was a very very uncomfortable sleep. There is a large outside area to the rear as stated in the description however, when I asked how to access it ( as im a smoker)I was told I couldn't use it as her dog was using it. I was told to use the street at the front. The property also states that each room has access to the terrace. A shared bathroom is not ideal but I knew I'd have to share it, however whenever I used it I felt uncomfortable as the bathroom window is in full view of a caravan below in the garden ( which appears to be in use, although I may be wrong). Overall a very negative experience. The one plus was a lovely breakfast.

Breakfast was superb on par with anything I have had.

I really can't think of anything I didn't like.

Friendly and informative staff. Good size room and en-suite. Fresh milk in a fridge for tea / coffee making.
