Enjoyed my stay, staff were very kind and helpful.... a bit awkward to locate the property, but was worth it.

recently stayed at Prairie Lodge in Shimla and was thoroughly impressed. The lodge offers excellent value for money, with comfortable beds that ensured a restful night’s sleep. Situated in a quiet location away from Main Street Anjali, a standout member of the staff, was incredibly helpful in organizing taxis and arranging a tour for me. Her extensive knowledge of the area was invaluable, and she went above and beyond to assist with any requests. Each morning, she prepared a delicious bhurji, which was a delightful start to the day. One aspect to note is the 25-minute steep uphill walk to Shimla. While it was invigorating and added a sense of adventure to my trip, it might be challenging for some guests. Overall, I highly recommend Prairie Lodge for budget travelers seeking comfort, tranquility, and outstanding hospitality in Shimla.

The room was clean and a good size. The bed was very comfortable and nice views. Great value for money.

I would not suggest this place if you are unfit. The walk to mall road is steep.

Clean room Food is good, although limited options and takes a long time to arrive.

The staff wasn't very helpful. The location may be close to the centre in theory, but in practice it is a long walk up hill to get to the interesting parts of town. The place cannot be accessed by taxi.

The staff was so nice and helped us with everything we needed. The view from the balcony was great, and the bathroom was huge and had hot water.

The linens could have been a bit more clean, but weren't very dirty.
