The Red House

Service and staff behavior was excellent. Overall it was very pleasant time while staying in Red house. They also provided cab facility on reasonable fare/rate.

The room was spacious but not tidy. Breakfast was good. Dining area was very clean. The garden was good with beautiful flowers.

The room was spacious, however was not very clean. The floor looked unmopped. We were more than 4 people and had to book for extra mattress which were very thin and not worth the money we paid Mr. Amit. Have paid Rs 9000 more to Mr Amit's account. Also the Toy train tickets from Ooty to Conoor were arranged by Mr Amit. However he charged us exorbitantly and cheated the tourists (us). We purchased 8 tickets and he has charged almost Rs4000 more. Beware of such frauds. Have attached the screen shots, pictures related to this.

Breakfast

We were not allowed to stay . The staff at the reception said that they cancelled the reservation as it was not paid upfront . We were not asked to pay and as the hotel didn’t call us for advance payment we thought we could pay at the property! But during the peak time and that too when I was travelling with my baby it was very rude of the hotel people to just cancel by booking even when they had the room , I guess they were planning to take the booking for a higher amount than what I paid . Shame on you !

Unprofessional

Near to city ..Vintage house cozy decent place to stay with family well humble staff & Mr. Amit who is the host there.

Breakfast good. Location calm area

In bathroom,floor level was not perfect,so water logged on the un even area on the floor near the door.
