Beautiful accommodation, a separate cottage with a beautiful view. An excellent breakfast prepared according to your wishes by the owners, who will also give you excellent advice on options for dinner, trips to the surrounding area, etc.

I had an unforgettable stay at this charming B&B on the Isle of Skye, and I can't praise it enough. The room was incredibly cozy and warm, making it the perfect retreat after a day of exploring the beautiful island. The interior design was simply stunning, with a perfect blend of charm and modern comfort. Every detail, from the carefully chosen decor to the little touches that made the room feel like home, was clearly crafted with care. Steve and Vivienne were the most wonderful hosts. They went above and beyond to make our stay special. Their breakfasts were absolutely delicious—fresh, hearty, and full of flavors (the Shukshoka and french toast specially). And I can't forget to mention the cakes and pies Viv prepared—they were hands down the best I've ever had! This B&B is a true gem on the Isle of Skye, offering not just a place to stay, but an experience you'll cherish. I can't wait to return!

Excellent facilities in exceptional accommodation. Such attention to detail. A lodge of peace and private haven with breathtaking views.

I wish I had enough space to do this justice - right from greeting us at check-in to communicating often about our stay and sending us off was great. We took a selfie with Viv and Steve at the end of our short stay so we don't forget we met these precious people. Our only regret was we didn't stay long enough - I'm sure we could've talked for hours and spent more time with them. Staying at Abhaig was an experience in itself - thanks for all the curated breakfasts, lunches and the coffee cakes, introduction to little Scottish things that helped us feel like localites and sending us off with tips and suggestions on our outings. We were nowhere in our home country and still felt immensely at home.

Beautiful home in an idyllic landscape. Lots of nice touches, wonderful food and other accommodations. Viv and Steve are absolutely charming and generous hosts.

If you’re staying in the room inside the house, the bath is separate. It was fine for me for a couple of nights, but may not work for everyone. If you want anonymity, this is also not the place for you!

Great location to explore the beautiful Isle of Skye. Lovely room in the main house. The bathroom is downstairs (which is not a problem as you immediately feel at home), the bathroom is spacious offering all you need (incl shampoo, shower gel,…). The breakfast place is cosy with a nice view, and the breakfast is ab-so-lu-te-ly delicious. There are several options to choose from - no worries, all equally great. Further, the picnic menu prepared by Viv was really a great add-on. And last but not least: the warm welcome, incl. local suggestions about what to do, the little gestures such as super tasty muffins after a rainy day, the drinks in the room, … all contributed to the great chill atmosphere. We love small local B&B’s like this and would defintely recommend a stay at Viv and Steve’s - you won’t regret it, promised :-)
