Loft Albicocca

Great location in the old town. The room was very comfortable, and we enjoyed going to a local café with our breakfast voucher. We would have loved to have stayed longer than one night.

We had a slight issue getting into the room, as we arrived later than we had indicated because our train was delayed. Luckily, we were helped by a local who rang the owner and got the code to the lockbox. I am not sure why this was not sent to us directly.

location was perfect for our stay, right outside were the women that make orecchiette by hand and a few popular places to eat. At night might be a bit noisy for some as it looks like the area (Largo Albicocca) was a meeting place for neighbors and such, so if you are a light sleeper this may not be for you. The apartment itself is quite spacious with a little kitchenette and fridge, they also have a coffee machine and supplied pods. Breakfast was about 5-6 mins away at a cafe at Vittorio Emmanuel street which was busy and no tables where to eat, so we skip it 3 days out of the 5 days we were there.

No preset up way to enter the apartment, i didnt have wifi so no way to communicate that we were there already so had to call with roaming but she came quickly, but it would have been nice to get instructions beforehand.

Easy check in and great location in the old town. The flat is also rather spacious and there's a small kitchen too.

I know this may not be the fault of the owner and I was very torn what kind of a rating to give to this apartment but we found 4 caterpillars in the room and one of them was under the sheets (felt it nibble on my leg). I have to say that's a first for me and also extremely unpleasant! I informed the owner and she said this has never happened before but I then saw at least two other recent reviews mention worms so that's rather alarming. Luckily we were only staying there for one night because I don't think I would've been able to stay for another one. Also another recurring negative feedback is the shower water and I have to agree - the hot water ran out before the end of the first shower which is not great.

Location unbeatable, apartment very spacious and complete.

It's directly on the street which means it can get quite noisy. There's no natural light coming in.

The location was good as we aimed to stay in the old city, but won't be nice if you're not into that or have heavy luggage to carry. We got some water, coffee capsules, crackers and an included breakfast (coffee and pastry), which was very nice of the host. Nonnas are working on the same street which was really cool to see them work.

The floor had lots of dust and the AC also had some visibly on the flaps. Overall the apartment was clean, but it needs more attention to detail. The shower had low pressure and hot water ran out when the second person showered. The isolation from the street isn't good, for noise during the night (there are people walking past until around midnight) or for insects coming under the main door (we had to get rid of 4 caterpillars that came in).

Lovely apartment in a great location in the old town of Bari. Pasta making going on right outside the door! Host was really helpful! Would definitely recommend others to stay here.
