Everything was excellent, the location, the accommodation, the breakfast and the hosts could not be faulted. Breakfast was of a very high standard with home made produce such as fruit compote. Márie was very friendly and attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The property is of victorian period and is furnished accordingly. Would definitely stay here again.

The property was very convenient to the city. When we arrived we did not have plans for dinner and our host called and made reservations for us at a restaurant over looking the water. It was very lovely. The room was large and so comfortable. Our window overlooked the bay. Our breakfast was so delightful. Super hosts!!

Amazing hosts, absolutely spoilt. Beautiful room and breakfast unbelievable. Highly recommended. Lovely place and walking distance to restaurants and main street. Great place to relax and enjoy away from the hustle and bustle of Cork.

Moira and Joe Keenan's magnificent home was unexpected paradise to us. Gorgeous furnishings arranged with a clever eye and flair for decorating punctuated big, airy spaces. Our king room was luxury with a fabulous bed and bed coverings. It was enormous in size with views out to the harbour and was superbly-appointed (and to us that meant including a box of tissues, thick towels, hairdryer). Breakfast in the formal dining room was quite an occasion and Moira's delicious fruit compote something to try again, and again. But what set this guesthouse apart from the rest is Moira and Joe's attention to detail specifically related to each guest. Each guest was valued and remembered. Nothing was too hard or too time-consuming to Moira who endeavoured to make each guest feel welcome and special. A huge thank you to Moira and Joe. We hope we will be back in the future.

Couldn’t have loved this place more. Gorgeous property and staff were just lovely it felt like we were staying with friends. And they serve the best breakfast! 😊 Can’t wait to go back.

Nothing! Only problem was I only got to stay one night, will be booking for longer next time.

We loved the restored Victorian home. The hostess had a parlor for us to sit in in the evening with a lit fire and we got to visit with her other guests and trade traveling stories. The bedroom was large with sitting chairs, and a comfortable king sized bed. The en suite was very nice as well. Breakfast was served in her dining room and included breads, yogurt, an English breakfast, and French pressed coffee. It was a delight to interact with our hostess and host, and they had wonderful recommendations for dinner in town.
