Nothing we loved our stayt

Hosts were lovely exceptionally clean room and delicious breakfast

Very homely feel and exceptionally clean. Friendly host. Breakfast was cooked to perfection and adequate, pre-ordered on arrival. Sat in the conservatory to eat breakfast and there was a lovely view to the fields at the back of the guest house where there were horses. The area is very quiet. A hairdryer and fan in the wardrobe. Free parking in driveway or on the street. Excellent price for room with breakfast. Ease of reach to The Forum by car just a few minutes. The car park aside The Forum is free after 6pm.

I prefer a softer pillow, mattress topper and a cotton duvet cover and pillow case but that's just my opinion. The lamp sitting on the headboard had to be moved to the floor as didn't feel safe there. Another bedside drawer unit would be beneficial instead of the chair. The chair to be moved next to the dressing table if still needed in room. Handy to sit on to put your footwear on.

This B&B just on the outskirts of Northallerton met our requirements perfectly. It was a good price, had good facilities, a nice breakfast and the host was very obliging. All in all excellent

Not much really. The adjoining room occupants were a bit noisy but I think one of them was a bit deaf. The floor was a bit creeky but not a massive issue. We are fairly warm people so with heating on it was a bit warm but everyone is different.

Excellent room. Absolutely spotless. 5** Super comfy beds. Friendly hosts. Great private bathroom. Nice breakfast, both hot & cold choices on offer.

Everything was great, so nothing to not like..

The people who own the house are lovely people, the breakfast they served was excellent, the view from our bedroom window across open fields (see photo) was beautiful. Parking was not a problem either down the drive or on the road.

Perhaps a bit nitpicking, but the bedroom was small & the bathroom was off a communal landing, which lost us some of our privacy. Northallerton is a fair way from there, so anyone with walking problems would struggle without own transport.
