Church Gate Farm

Location was very much in the middle of nowhere...about 20mins to ilkley area so perfect for our stay Room and cleanliness was exceptional. Host was just lovely. We didn't opt for the breakfast but I'd imagine that would also have been amazing.

What a stunning spot and such a beautiful place to stay. Lyndsey has thought of absolutely everything to make the stay as special as possible. Such a comfortable bed with lovely linens, cosy chairs and even a bathrobe with slippers. Had the best nights sleep there of my holiday. I was traveling alone and felt so spoilt with a delicious breakfast every morning, good pub food just down the road at the Wellington for dinner and a easy base for Harrogate.

Everything was amazing. So comfortable and exceptionally clean throughout. There were so many wonderful and unexpected little extras to make our stay much better than expected. The bed was extremely comfortable allowing us to sleep really well in very peaceful surroundings. The accommodation is in a very beautiful, remote rural location so a car is a necessity. We will definitely return if we are in the area and would recommend Church Gate Farm to others wishing fo a peaceful and comfortable stay.

I didn’t have breakfast as left the property very early. The accommodation was exceptional, host was very helpful. Facilities were excellent catering for all needs, pillow mist to help sleep, tea and coffee facilities, mini bar at very good prices. Would rate 10/10 - would definitely recommend and will be visiting again.

This beautiful farmhouse is about a 10minute drive outside the centre of harrogate however its in a beautiful rural location and very peaceful. I loved everything about my stay.

5* luxury everything you would need was provided even down to first aid and ibuprofen! First rate breakfast well worth the extra £10pp

I would like to leave a review on behalf of my daughter. I booked this trip for her and her partner through booking.com, and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. From the moment they arrived, they were warmly greeted and made to feel very welcome. My daughter said it was a perfect weekend getaway and that everything exceeded their expectations. She would highly recommend it to others. From my perspective as the person who made the booking, the communication was excellent throughout, which gave me great peace of mind. I'm so happy that my daughter and her partner had such a wonderful time, and I wouldn't hesitate to book again. Thank you for making their stay so special.

Everything about our stay was beautiful from the location to the house itself, such a stunning home and a lovely host. The eggs on toast for breakfast was the best eggs on toast we’ve had!!

There wasn’t absolutely nothing to dislike.

On arrival we knew we were staying somewhere special, the house is stunning! Greeted with a smile, Lyndsey was such a lovely host. Her beautiful home is welcoming, homely and immaculate. We did not mind taking our shoes off on arrival, out of respect of the gorgeous cream carpets - makes you feel at home. Our room was stunning with treats and many gorgeous toiletries, including bath salts, fabulous muscle and sleep sprays. The bed is a dream in itself, we slept really well. The breakfast was ordered the night before and was just perfect with fresh ingredients. We would definitely recommend paying extra for the breakfast. The fields were covered in snow but the roads are kept clear, so no worries about getting stuck there, although that would not be a problem as I didn’t want to leave. We will be sure to book again for our usual yearly trip to Pateley bridge which is just 14 minutes down the road. Thank you Lyndsey for a gorgeous stay xx
