We only met simon He's was perfectly pleasant. Helped us with our bags and kindly allowed us to put cool blocks in the freezer for our next day travels. We were very thankful Breakfast was nice, we were planning lunch elsewhere that day, so we were happy that it wasn't a huge portion.

The small double is exactly what it says. It's a very small double. Thankfully we didn't have a lot of luggage (ie cases and big backpacks). The mattress wasnt great, it could do with a topper or something, I could feel the springs. There's a big gap in the door so we were very conscious of people coming past the room or hearing us.

The location was perfect for us. We had avery good breakfast which had plenty of choice. The room was comfortable and had all the facilities you could want. Would recommend to anyone.

If I could give this place a 100 stars I would. Such a lovely, cosy place! Fantastic rooms and breakfast. The owners was so nice to us and made us feel very welcomed. Highly recommend.

Mattress on the bed was just a bit past its best, so not as comfortable as we'd have liked.

Great location, Steve allowed us to put our motorcycle in their garage, lovely couple, spacious room, very clean, comfy bed, quiet, we had a great nights sleep, breakfast was delicious, shame we only stayed the one night. We had something to eat at the station in just around the corner, and we would advise booking , we managed to get a table even tho it was busy
