Benslow Music Historic Stay in Hitchin

Lovely house and gardens, good sized room, relaxed atmosphere and friendly and helpful staff

Easy access to train

Needs little updating in lodge entrance but still clean

Although the rooms are a bit out of date, I loved this hotel. Since it is a music school, the sounds of violin and piano are in the air. The gardens around the hotel are beautiful and a wonderful place to sit and relax when the weather is good. The breakfast in English buffet style with a good bit of variety available. There are restaurants and supermarkets quite nearby as well.

perhaps the shower is a bit small and the staircase is very steep and narrow; Not much really

huis met de slaapkamers in apart gebouw. Ziet er van buiten goed uit, maar van binnen verveloos en gordijnen in kamer hangen slordig. Onverzorgde indruk.

Great place to stay, definitely would come back!

a hidden gem, they open for public during music week when groups are there. the loveliest garden , they even have their own bees/honey clean, very quiet locatiton

very old fashioned furniture in an old room, maybe used to be house for the staff? it has its charme though!!
