The Old Vicarage

A listed heritage building so some old bits and pieces must be expected e.g. original stone floors. Super room and bathroom. Even had a small kitchen. Great breakfast, more than I could eat.

Some people may find the old building and fittings not to their taste.

Really beautiful house and gardens. Easy to find, 5 mins off M1. Secure parking. Full kitchen. Quiet and safe. 5 mins walk to great local pub with Famed Indian Cuisine.

We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and good night's sleep. It was very clean, peaceful and in the perfect location for a wedding we were attending locally.

We booked two rooms but the host only had one on her calendar. Luckily I contacted the host the day before check in and discovered this so we were able to get the two rooms I'd paid for. I'm not sure what would've happened if I didn't get in touch before hand. Some of the facilities felt a little run down such as the communal kitchens and bathroom but I appreciate this may be tricky with the older style of the building.
