Beautiful location, incredible breakfast and the loveliest host.

It's a great rural location on a sheep farm and this time of year there are lambs. The garden is lovely with delightful views. We had a key to come and go as we pleased and the cooked breakfasts were delicious with my wife's dietary needs well met. The rooms are well cleaned and the hosts are charming and helpful.

Don't trust the SatNav as it may direct you up some single track roads. Try to come on either the B road from Hay or Peterstone for peace of mind. You do need your car to get to places.

Libby was an exceptional warm hostess. She made us so welcome.

Libby’s breakfasts are justly praised. All freshly cooked with local ingredients. Excellent! Also the Pandy Inn just down the road in Dorstone was a good place for supper. (Otherwise it’s a bit of a trek back into Hay.)

The property conveniently situated and has magnificent views in all directions and hence fairly distant from any shopping facilities .You could not ask for a better breakfast served and cooked by the owner. Would happily stop there again.

There was nothing to dislike with a very hospitable host in a pleasant accommodation

Libby was an excellent host & nothing was too much trouble. Warm, comfortable house, beautifully situated & convenient for activities in & around the area. Lovely well-cooked breakfast. We had home-made Welsh Cakes left in our room which had coffee/tea making facilities. Large, fluffy bath towels were always clean & fresh & we had a large, very comfortable bed with good quality bedding.

Absolutely nothing could be improved upon. Well done!
