Toilet and sink didn’t look too bad.

There are a lot of things I didn’t like about room 9. Firstly, the room smelt really bad of damp and quite smoky. Secondly, the shower looked dirty when I looked down. Furthermore, the bed was really dirty and pillows and blanket weren’t great. Also, the T.V didn’t work at all. This experience of mine has been really disappointing and I hope that staff can amend these issues so that others don’t have similar issues.

Good location, easy check in process

Photos of the property not representative of what it looks like now. Very tired interior with damp. Walls very thin and floors creak constantly so hard to relax. Bathroom sink wasn’t clean. Fire extinguisher not in designated space. No phone signal in bedroom. Asked for WiFi password but owner never replied to my text, and no WiFi network came up as an option anyway. I had to stay somewhere else in the end because I felt unsafe. A man was walking up and down the corridor and loitering outside my bedroom, and when I came out of my room he was lurking in his doorway and staring at me. I’m aware the owners cannot help who stays in their property, but I would have felt safer if I could have phone signal so I was able to contact family if I needed to.

Excellent location for work and quiet area for working shifts.
