Great and light private room in the heart of Nice

First of all there is nothing in the name of Great and Light.. its self spoken name hard to find property. Also booking.com should specify that this is a private room where you will share one room with live in landlords. I was shocked I was on my holiday and I was to stay in strangers house. My bad I did not read the full description.I landed at this place late night and got the biggest shock I was like it’s someone’s house where I am going to sleep with doors open ( apparently bedroom locks doesn’t work).

I did not like anything it’s an old house with fabricated stuff. , it’s a long walk of almost 2km from station, (yes beach is close). Toilet no proper locks I was told to clean the shower sink and make sure there are no hairs after shower in the drain 🤯🤯🤯 also no shoes beyond the main door, first night I did not sleep all night sitting in the corner of the bed thinking how safe I am ? I did speak to the customer care at booking .com but the person on line kept saying pls read the review it’s so good she was all in favour of the host, just refused to listen or understand my safety and concern. I had no choice except to stay as I was almost midnight.

Cozy room with shared bathroom, but the bathroom was superclean and the host is very nice :)

The room is extremely spacious and has such french chic vibe. The host is really nice and polite. I shared bathroom and toilet with other rooms also but the host made sure everyone keep it tidy and clean. Phòng siêu rộng, thoáng và cực kỳ style. Một lựa chọn tuyệt nếu bạn muốn có trải nghiệm nhà ở tại Pháp :). Chủ nhà lịch sự, dễ thương. Phòng tắm và phòng vệ sinh shared nhưng rất sạch sẽ.

It's better that you travel light since there're no lift. The hall is big which make it easier.

aggressive and rude owner who got me almost to the point of crying by her obsession of control and showing it’s her house and rules and yelling at me just because i wanted to use the bathroom that was empty. she also lied about late check in possible and tried to cancel the appointment for me to get the keys while i was already on the train. stay away unless you want to feel like your breathing is too loud. i wish no one to experience something like this while paying so much money. a minimum of respect for people who pay for her life would be amazing. it’s a short version cause no one would read a longer one. weekend that felt like living in prison

The location

The host was rude and aggressive. I forgot to lock the door on the toilet. She opened it in error. Rather than apologising she started telling me off. When I responded, saying please don't speak to me like that, she threatened to kick me out. She said this is my home, you are sleeping in my home, do you want to leave? I walked in eggshells for days. She shouldn't host guests

An unforgettable stay that no words can truly explain. Neko, thank you for making me feel so special and so at home. I’m keeping our best memories close to my heart!

La qualité de l'accueil, la disponibilité de la propriétaire et les temps d'échange avec la propriétaire. L'atmosphère du logement, plein de caractère. L'emplacement du logement : proximité de la gare, du centre, des commerces....Et de la mer!
