Bed super comfy. Nice breakfast. Close to the beach. Very nice staff :)

WiFi didn’t work properly in the room. Shower got cold in the end of the day. If you’re not by car, is hard to get to other places like old town or other beaches.

Beach Bar Karma

Unkidness of people and staff in charge of accommodation. Blackmailing guests who do not have their own transportation. They charge expensive taxi services for cheap air tickets. People without manners and basic behavior.

The really chill accomodation in the south west part of the island, in the garden of olives trees just twenty meters from the beach. It has a huge terrace and it is cleaned every day. The breakfast was included in the price with the filter coffee or tea, it is not abundant but enough, and it is served in the premises close to the accomodation. Also, there are at least, three excellent tavernas in the Marathias villages, one of them is the Panos taverna that is managed by the familiy. The beach is large and sandy, beautifull if it is your cup of tea. Overall expirience, chill, excellent and enjoyable. 🩵

Our 3rd visit to Marathias and we would definitely return if we return to Corfu. Nice sized room with typical Greek bathroom and a very basic kitchenette(sink & kettle). Very close to beach & various taverna’s etc. The owner Panos does run an excellent restaurant approx 1km way.

Whilst Olive house is very central, it is next to a very busy/popular & noisy Taverna(Vrachos which is worth a visit). It is also on a very busy street. We booked a room with sea view which we most definitely did not have.

The room was big and very nice, the location was great (close to the beach, close to a shop, close to Perfect Ten taverna), the price was very attractive, the breakfasts were tasty, there was a mosquito net installed. To sum up, it's a very good value for money!

We got a different room than we booked (but we got a discount for this). The shower basin was very small. The pillows were somewhat uncomfortable for me.
