Location and the Local style of staying The owner is very kind.

Should have some direct contact with the owner... If she is not there , people has to wait outside of the building.

The host was kind, the room was nice and clean, they provided a crib for our toddler, that was kind. Clean linens and towels. The host agreed that we can leave the luggage near the entrance after checkout. Nice coffee during breakfast. The place was also close to the train station and the airport.

The bathroom was not entirely private. Is was not an attached bathroom, it was a separate room outside our room, like a shared bathroom, but we had the keys to the bathroom. This was unexpected as we expected an attached bathroom when we saw '' Private bathroom''. The bathroom also had an unpleasant smell, probably of a strong cleanser used. The shower curtain was in a poor shape. We were a bit disappointed with the breakfast as there was no fresh bread, the host just provided some packed croissants and rusks and some juice.

We stayed here to get a flight the next morning, it was a very convenient location for the airport (we walked there in about 10 minutes). The property is walkable to the centre of Pisa and the main attractions and also near the central station. The bedroom and shared bathroom were basic but comfortable and suitable for our needs.

I loved the style of the building; it was really traditional, but had the relevant amenities (wifi and bathroom facilities). Everything was clean; the only issue with the (shared) bathroom is that the floor gets really wet after using the shower (it is more like a wet room). My room was next to the main road, which was a bit noisy but wasn't really an issue with earplugs. The room was large, with a sofa/desk/wardrobe and television. The guesthouse is a 10-15 minute walk from the airport, which was great. It's also pretty close to the town center, if you walk via the train station subway. I was a bit worried doing this at night, as a solo traveller, but didn't have any issues and the streets were well lit. Paola was really friendly and offered coffee/cereal/fruit in the morning. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay here and think that it was good value for money.

As above; the floor in the bathroom gets pretty wet after using the shower.
