We diddnt like the fact it was in someones house we couldn't relax felt like we was intruding we did not know it was in someones home when we booked it does not say on booking.com

The room was clean and cosy, the bed was comfortable, the shower in the ensuite with its grab handle to give confidence to the less secure of us and the little fridge to keep fresh milk cold (which we were advised to turn off overnight because of its noise) all gave to the lovely welcome provided by our hostess the confirmation that we had found an idyllic bolthole for the night. No noisy traffic overnight, no streetlights leaking light through the curtains, the night was so peaceful, we slept really well. And then breakfast - the breakfast hamper was ready for us on the dining table outside our room in the morning at the time agreed. Full of easy to prepare goodies that we could sort for ourselves with the kettle from our room to make a brew and make up the porridge. We ate the porridge and drank the juice and a cuppa and because we were needing to get on the road, the fruit, croissants, muesli bars and muffins kept us going for the rest of the day. Willowcroft on the one hand seems a bit off the beaten track but that is part of its beauty. The stunning views across to the beginnings of the Humber estuary as the Ouse and the Trent merge to the North and the Trent to the West gave a magical welcome - we could hardly pay attention to our accommodation before we'd been drawn to the view from around the side of the property - with a bench provided, on a long warm summer evening, you wouldn't have wanted to come inside I'm sure, but it was a cooler September evening and it was getting dark.

Nice quiet place. Safe car park. Very comfortable bed.

Loved the scenery and peacefulness. We had the most amazing breakfast hamper in the morning and the owners where lovely.

Continental. Very good and plenty.

Would of been nice to have a larger bed as it was a very small Double. Ok for a cold night to snuggle up. No Tv.

Beautiful location ,lot’s of places for walks and to see wildlife. Nice clean room with a view with a comfortable bed , nice shower Tim was very friendly and made us feel welcome.

What a lovely place to stay. Friendly host, beautiful setting, great facilities, very comfortable bed and delightful breakfast. Definitely want to return.
