The room was comfortable and clean

I didn't like the stairs. They were very narrow and could have had more bannisters. We were also disappointed with the breakfast offer of a cold breakfast delivered in a bag to the room which had only decaf coffee on offer. There was tea in the room but we don't drink tea :-(

Food was very good.

A bit Spartan. Would have preferred breakfast in a proper dining room rather than a bag left at bedroom door in the morning.

Comfortable bed but see below.

Storm Floris caused a power cut which meant no shower or lights, obviously and no restaurant either. The problem was that we felt totally abandoned as no help was offered, not even a torch. No power in the evening or morning and no hot water to wash. I don't know how often storms cause power cuts but they didn't seem at all prepared.

Convenient, comfortable, good evening meal

The shower needs a soap dish
