Lovely wee hotel situated just off the A9 near Tain

Would be better if they charged extra for a hot breakfast. Good continental breakfast tho with plenty in the bags they leave outside the room

The food was excellent. Evening meals very tasty. Continental breakfast was ok.

Breakfast was a " continental " one, left for us in a bag...it was quite adequate. Happy with it. Our evening meal was very good and the staff very helpful and cheerful. Thank you!😀

The food is very good. I stayed 2 nights and tried 2 dishes. I would happily stay there again or stop for food if passing.

The entrance to the carpark is a disgrace, there are a couple of massive potholes that need to be filled in immediately. When I first arrived I didn't see the massive pothole I drove into, there was a load bang as my chassis hit the road, thankfully I was driving very slowly and I do not appear to have damaged my car.

The pub was fantastic, the staff there were very welcoming. We enjoyed a great meal on the night we stayed, portions were excellent. I had lasagne, which was wonderful and homemade. My wife had fish and chips, the haddock was well battered. Overall a very nice meal. We stayed in the little cottage adjacent to the pub. We were given a continental breakfast in the morning which was nice. Pricewise it was reasonable.

The room was a little cold, which we can cope with but others may find less pleasant. The bed was not particularly comfortable and could do with mattress and pillows being replaced. The shower is a bit weak but does run consistently hot. None of these things were that bad for a one night stay.
