Lovely comfortable room amazing views, breakfast was exceptional would definitely be returning

Everything! The property was well presented and Philippa and Brad were very welcoming with the room exceeding our expectations, especially the view, outstanding! Very clean, plenty of space for stowing our belongings. Lots of help with local eateries and places to visit but the best part was breakfast the following morning. The food was great, freshly prepared and really set us up for the day. Highly recommend No6 and can't wait to visit again, thank you both for making our first visit to Barmouth a very pleasant experience.

Philippa and Brad are amazing hosts. From pre-check-in to checkout, they were with us on top of everything. They got in touch via WhatsApp before our trip to give us some amazing info on restaurants. Philippa helped us a lot planning our walks around Snowdonia and every suggestion was perfect. The room is huge and everything is new and very very clean. Even the body wash smells great! TV is smart with some streaming options and will give you what you need if that’s your thing. They have an honesty bar downstairs that would come in handy if it’s raining and you wanna chill in the evening (see pic), but the property is also very close to pubs and restaurants in the centre. Breakfast is offered with many wonderful options and cooked on request by Brad, this time disguised as a chef (maybe a restaurant or cafe is in their future). We went for “Brad's favourite” (sourdough, scrambled eggs, tomatoes and prosciutto) and the “Big 6” (a traditional full breakfast), with yoghurt and fruits, sourdough toast and coffee with milk. Philippa even accepted my annoying request for a stronger coffee (a Brazilian one!) for the trip back to Berkshire. I went for a run every morning and breakfast was what we needed to start the day in a good mood. I would suggest that the hosts let people know where to park as they have a busy on-street parking in front of the building, but an allocated space just turning on the road before the property going to town (ask them if in doubt and they will happily help you). Oh! Almost forgot: the views from the building are amazing, as you can see. Would definitely return and wish the owners all the best!

Absolutely perfect from start to finish, our room was simply stunning with the most breathtaking views. Breakfast was delicious. We ate in our room to make the most of the views, Brad and Philippa were excellent hosts, with nothing being too much trouble

From start to finish, our stay at No. 6 was just brilliant. Communication from Philippa and Brad before our arrival was spot on; really friendly via WhatsApp. We arrived an hour earlier than planned, and they’d kindly made sure our room was ready. Brad greeted us at the door with a warm welcome, showed us up to our room, and talked us through how everything worked: from breakfast orders to the TV. Waiting for us were some amazing chocolate brownies and sweets, such a thoughtful touch. The room was spacious, spotless, and had the most stunning view over the estuary. The bed was super comfortable, and the bathroom was immaculate, with both a shower and a bath. You can tell real care has gone into making sure guests feel relaxed and at home. Breakfast was delicious; plenty of choice and beautifully presented. Philippa was also great with tips on local places to visit, a wealth of knowledge! Honestly, everything was faultless. Warm hosts, gorgeous room, great location; we’d go back to No. 6 in a heartbeat.
