We're simply full of praise for this lovely B&B in Avola. It's run by the most sympathetic and genuinely caring family who went out of their way to make our stay in Avola as fantastic as possible. We had to change our travel plans just a couple of days beforehand and didn't have time to do much research before we booked, but we chose Bilateral B&B based on the good reviews, and they most certainly lived up to their high rating. Everything was simply perfect. Our friendly hostess suggested herself to pick us up from the bus station even though we hadn't even considered to ask for this. The facilities are spotless, freshly decorated and sparkling clean. The room was spacious and well equipped, even with a small balcony with a clothesline to hang our swimming gear to dry. She gave us lots of tips for beaches and restaurants, where to get the best aperitivo, etc. We followed her advice with great success! The following day she even gave us a ride to the bus station again so that we made it to a spontaneous trip to Modica. The breakfast is ordered the night before on a pre-filled slip where one simply checks of the different options one wants for the next day. Several options to choose from, both sweet and savoury, fresh fruit, juices, etc. You can choose whether to enjoy the breakfast in the dining room, in your room or on the lovely rooftop terrace. Everything we had for breakfast was so, so good! The location is a little walk from the town center, but you can reach both the center of Avola, the Marina di Avola with many restaurants and the adjacent public beach (spiaggia marina vecchia di Avola) in 12-15 minutes on foot. Forgot to mention the owners even lent us a beach umbrella for free, which made our beach day even better. We absolutely loved it here, and even though we hadn't planned to visit Avola at all, now we definitely want to return. 😊

Avola is an old city with very little to enjoy

A perfect property for our family holiday in Avola, the hosts are very gentile and friendly, the property is very very clean and most of all our furry dog was very welcomed, easy parking facilities, a delicious breakfast was served every morning and 24hr assistance. Definitely a recommended B&B for sure we will visit again

Water flow, no lift

The room was super clean, spacious, newly established, comfortable bed, new towels, really nice breakfast (you need to say in advance what you would like to eat for breakfast and you will get everything), very helpful receptionist. We also had free parking in front of the building. Also there was possibilty to use Netflix. There are beautiful beaches near Avola
